There will be plenty of break time in between rounds for students and teams to get food, visit with colleges and sponsors, and explore Marshalltown!
Parking & Registration
Parking & Registration
Parking will be in the parking lot East of the Orpheum across the street. There is enough room there for buses, other school vehicles and spectators.
Registration be in the front of the Orpheum underneath the marquee. Please use that entrance when coming in (and take photos under the lights that night!). Look for the signage!
Registration begin at 7am each day. Games will start an hour after registration is open. at 8:15am

Above: The Emerson Theater. This is where part of the tournament will be held.
Below: The MechDyne Black Box. This will be where part of the tournament is held and will be the site for most of the championship matches.
For Siege and Smite there are 40 computers organized in 4 pods.
For SSBU, there will be three stations in each room.
Student teams will be assigned to certain spots each round. Students will be moving around throughout the day so make sure parents and spectators know where you will be playing in person and on the livestream!
Students will need to log into their accounts or their school accounts however the game was purchased. If a student is use to a console, he/she will need to bring their controller and play on a PC. Any questions with this, please reach out to contact@iahsea.org
If you're bringing a controller to play on PC, please make sure it is wired and it is an official XBox or Playstation controller. We cannot guarantee any other branded controllers will work.
If your headsets do not have USB, please make sure to bring an USB adapter to State.
SSBU
Everyone needs to bring their own Switch and their own dock for the Switch that can be labeled with your team's name on it. Teams may be moving around with their Switch to play against other teams, but we would like the docks to remain in their location.
TVs will be provided. They are 42 inch TVs and each room has the same exact TV.

Marshalltown Athletics will be running the concessions have a variety of eats on site and you guessed it Sub City is an option!
Marshalltown also has many food and amenities a short distance from the venue. Some of the Chamber of Commerce's partner restaurants can be found here. Some discounts may be available for state participants at select locations! More to come!

We will have spots for students to congregate and set their stuff down while they are waiting. This will be on the 2nd level classroom. Please be respectful as other teams and coaches will be using this area also.
We will also have a spot for our colleges to visit with students, sponsors to show off the latest and greatest in esports and more! This will be on the main level across from the Black Box. We will have many colleges here to talk to!
